22 July 1917 – Having set sail on 9 April, James drops anchor in Falmouth

DIARY: Sighted Lands End at 10 am. Passed convoy of ships at 7.30AM escorted by British cruiser and two American destroyers.  Bad fog dropped at 2.15PM, lifted at 2.40PM and we proceeded into Falmouth for orders.  Left Falmouth at 7.30PM
